I'm a government teacher, can I do Ph.D. from LPU?

    Yes, you can do. LPU offers Full Time and Part Time Ph.D. Programmes under various disciplines. Admission to the Ph.D. Programmes will be through LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) and Interview. Moreover, LPU offers flexible coursework options-
    1) Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only)
    2) 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
    3)15 days course work (November/December)
    The entrance exam was on 24 and 26 july, If you have cleared that then you can proceed with the further process. Result will be out on August 3, 2020
    And interviews from 11 to 16 August. Hope this helps

    Hello,
    Yes, you can definitely go for Ph.D. from LPU. You can look forward with Part Time Ph.D. option. Looking for a suitable option for Ph.D. I think it is even a tough task than looking for colleges for graduation and Masters. For a Ph.D. candidate you need lot of support from university side and since I am pursuing my Ph.D. from LPU, I am very thankful that university and my mentor is always at my help. I am currently working in Delhi and it is very difficult for me to manage my studies with my job. But I am grateful that LPU has given me flexi course work option, in which I can choose when I can visit the university as per my job a

    The eligibility is:
    Masters degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to clearing LPU NEST and Interview. If you are UGC/NET qualified then you are exempted from LPU NEST but to avail the maximum scholarship it is advisable to appear in LPU NEST.

    Hi there, the aim of LPU is to cater to all those who are interested in studies in whatever capacity they can. For working people LPU has part time and Ph.D. from distance learning. Both Full Time & Part time Ph.D. programs are available in LPU. In Case of Ph.D. Part Time programme, applicants are required to submit an NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Other than Engineering disciplines, Students who have done their Masters in Distance Mode, are eligible for Ph.D. programme.
