i m a mech. engg with 3.5 yrs exp. i want 2 switch to IT career. can u advise me which courses to start with

i have 3.5 years of exp. in manufacturing industry and dont find it suitable for females since it is shop floor related job. hence want to switch to IT industry since it is atleast office based.
