I'm a MSc biotechnology student. Can I apply in DSSSB for PGT biology?

  • Yes, you can definitely apply in DSSSB for PGT biology if you have completed your M.Sc in biotechnology. The basic eligibility requirements are that you need to have a Masters degree from a recognised university in the relevant subject, which you are already having. The normal age limit generally ranges between 21 and 36 years, if you have any reserved category certificate you may get relaxation in that. A 2-3 year teaching experience is very much desirable to get the job easily. You can apply for the PGT Biology post online through the DSSSB website.

    Yes, you are eligible for PGT biology after completion of MSc biotechnology, however you must complete your B.Ed. In biology too to become a teacher and additional skills may be required according to the school you are applying to .
