English and Psychology are closely allied subjects.So, there is no problem from the study angle.You don't need much time to settle down.

The ideal option is to pick M.A English, Masters in Journalism or MBA. However, if you are passionate about being a Psychologist, then you can pick a masters degree in Psychology.
