I'm an NDA aspirant & have completed my 12th from science stream. Which will be the best field for me to further appear for OTA and CDS?

B.Sc in physics, chemistry and maths will be good options for OTS and CDS examination conducted by UPSC because then you will be eligible for both technical and non technical commission officer roles in army. Also, you will be eligible for flying branch in Indian Air Force.

As an NDA aspirant you can opt for the CDS as in that you can have some technical knowledge and then you can build new and innovative things that can help forces to grow and can move matching shoulders with the world.

The Commission will release the NDA 2 notification 2026 on the official portal at upsc.gov.in. It will be issued on May 20, 2026. The last date to apply for NDA 2 will be June 9, 2026.
