I m an1st yr B.A. English honours student under Calcutta university.will data entry corse will help me in future?what else can i do?

I am form ISC board and in +2 level i scored 88 in english.I just gave my 1st year exam and waiting for my results.so i want to know which certificated couses will help me in future.even i have the urge to learn french language so will it be better if i do a 3 year course or 6 months course

Data entry course will only lead you to become a data inputter / MIS jobs. While pursuing English honors, why don't you try for B ed to get into a teaching line.

No course will be a futile effort but you have more opportunities like MA in English or an MBA. Data Entry course may only help you to get satisfied as a data entry operator at a lower management cadre with an optimum pay package.

No, I would not suggest for the data entry course. Instead you develop your literary capabilities and begin writing work. You should aim for either a career in education line or in the state PSC services / Govt Admin jobs.

English combines well with Computer in building up your career.Or else, you have to study for a PG in English or BEd.
