    Your Stream and college both are good in my opinion. If that is what you want to pursue, then go for it undoubtedly. M.Sc in Data Science is a good course, but might not be able to get you a job quickly. Although, if you are not aiming for job, but rather the Ph.D then this would be very beneficial. You can also qualify for Assitant Professor or researcher in many institutes.

    If you have done B.Sc in stats, then there are various other options available for you, which are far better than Gitam. You can opt for ISI-Kolkata, CMI and many other options are available for you.
