To begin with you need to keep a close check on the form dates of all the good colleges which offer post graduation in journalism. For starters, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Symbiosis (Pune), Jamia Millia Islamia, Times School of Journalism (Delhi), Asian College of Journalism (Chennai) and St. Xavier's College (Mumbai) are some of the best ones in India. Hi Snehal!
Journalism is a great career choice in today's era of communication and technology. You will have to appear for a general aptitude test so you need to practice mathematics (till 10th standard), logical reasoning and English language. You will also need to read a lot of newspapers and be aware of the current affairs and general knowledge. Updating your knowledge about the media industry and its famous personalities is equally important.
