    Hi Jatin
    If you believe in hard study and complex programming then java is good.
    After doing course in java you will not only understand JAVA But can understand any other language easily. .
    And since it is a platform interdependent language it have great scope. . C and JAVA are like evergreen language . .
    In other hand .NET also have good scope but it will give you expertise in only window programming. IT Is also an easy to understand language. .it decreased 90% of programming . .
    JAVA have better scope then .NET
    However i must say your success depends on your hard study and Knowledge.

    Hi,
    Some of the notable players among are Microsoft's ASP.Net and Sun Microsystems's JAVA.
    As far as server is concerned, programming ASP.NET and J2EE are considered to be the mostly used languages. In today's computer education system, java training and dot net training is the main part.
    Being a very popular language, Java has got lots of demand in the market. It is object oriented and class-based language.
    In the present day's IT business, dot NET consultancy is the most preferred service. There are different objectives like software architecture analysis, business needs analysis, architecture consulting and data reviews etc.

    Dear Jatin, to pursue your goal of becoming software engineer, one thing is very clear that you will have to develop proficiency in either DotNet or JAVA. There is no question of confusion as both are having enough applications, used for networked computers for on line systems and both are object oriented programms. But both are front-end, hence, oracle with JAVA and SQL with DotNet are the back-ends which must be learnt as well. ASP.Net, JAVAscript, Python etc are for web designing and are considered to be in little lower level.
