I'm currently studying in USA and I'm trying to transfer to an Indian university. What's the process? Is it possible first of all?

It completely depends on the discretion of the University and college. One cant state if it is possible without having all details so you can get in touch with your current college and know about lateral entry procedure to other university and then confirm from the University you wish to apply for.
