Hi Biresh,
To get into a PhD programme one doesn't need an M.Phil degree. The eligibility to get into a PhD programme is a Masters degree with 55% to 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. However, if you are looking for Fellowships or scholarships then in that case you need to clear UGC

A pass in UGC-NET or JRF or SLET or M Phil is desirable otherwise you are eligible
