I'm doing B.Sc in physics honors. Can I enter into merchant navy as an officer? What steps should I take to become a navy officer?

Career as a Merchant Navy could be in 2 fields mainly - Engineer or a Cadet. Other fields could be catering, junior offiecers, etc. Subjects Required :Only PCM students can apply. Entrance Exam IMU- CET :Indian Maritime University conducts an entrance exam IMUCET for various courses such as B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Sc. Marine, B.Sc. Marine Catering, etc. You are also required to clear an interview and medical check-up. JEE T. S. Chanakya, Marine Engineering & Research Institute, Kolkata, & National Maritime Academy, Chennai, etc. Accepts JEE score. They are required to fill the forms for IMU as well. Colleges offering B.Sc. Nautical Science/ B.Sc.
