I'm doing my 12th from NIOS through Science stream, after that I want to pursue for Hon. in History after that can I apply for UPSC's exams?

I was doing my 12th from CBSE but was not able to clear my Chem. subject. So, I turned to NIOS so to clear my 12th class. Now, after the exams, I want to pursue for Hon. in History. My main motive is to apply for UPSC exams, so I want to know that after completing 12th from NIOS, can I do that ?
