I'm doing my BFA degree. Is there any scope in game developing as a career. And also, what shud i do aftr BFA, 2 pursuit my Gaming career ?

i really want 2 make a career in game developing, but i dont know what to do after completing my BFA. should i 1st do Animation and then go for Gaming, or should i do sumthng else ?

    The animation industry can be broadly classified into six categories: 3D animation, 2D animation, gaming, multimedia, web designing and visual effects (VFX).
    It is true that the quality of education to groom the skill sets was targeted only at production skills and hence most of the training was focused on teaching software applications, but not the core skills of storytelling and film-making.

    Before pursuing any course in creative course. you should first analyze you level of creativity that will help you to choose from various option Creative fields consists various options : 2D,3D,Web designing, VFX, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, photography, filmmaking and many more. Creativity is the main essence of abovementioned fields.

    To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as preproduction. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax and Character animations in Maya, Only the models are made with less polygons and more textures. So choose a program that teaches you these software. It would not matter whether the programme is called game design programme or not. Rest, to become a level designer you must have a passion for game design.
