i'm doing my engg in computer science and i'm in a bit of hesitation whether to do my M.S or not. if i do then how is it going to benefit me

you can continue in the same university and take up MBA and specialize in IT

If you r inerested for career in education and research doing masters in computer science would be a good step, a the same time it increases yr scope for job placement .
