NIT-K is better when you look for campus life & the location. But computer science is better than mechanical in terms of placements in most of the colleges that doesn't mean mechanical in NIT-K placements are bad. But CSE placements are the best. Hello Mahaksh, it all boils down to your personal interest at the end of the day. If your only goal is getting into Computer Science, then you can opt from DAIICT or SVNIT. But, if you are not sure about Computer Science, then you can go for Mechanical Engineering in NIT Suratkhal. Hope this helps!
