I'm gonna pass out of 12th in year 2012-13 and wish seek advice on a career in animation and game creation industry.
I'm soon gonna pass out 12th std and am pretty good at sketching(self trained) computer and multimedia handling. I want to know what are the options I can consider for a career in animation and game designing.

You have good talent since, Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Animation industry is now poised for growth just as ITES (BPO) was around ten years back. But unlike BPO, animation is highly creativity oriented and extremely rewarding for those who develop a passion for it.
