i m in 12th nd i wanna opt for genetic engineering in canada either now or after my biotech frm india. wats the beneficial one???

i have a doubt that in india i havent known any college giving direct genetic eng. after 12th.... so i just want to ask that can i go for my higher studies to canada just after completing my biotech from india?? i wnna opt genetic eng. as my carrier there.. PLZ HELP ME OUT !!!!!
