I'm in BA 2nd year now. Will I be eligible to do B.Des? Will my age after BA Programme be a barrier to do B.Des?

Hi, B.Des in Fashion Design is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The programme is spread over 8 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate's chosen stream of study.

Des programmes if they fulfill any of the below mentioned criterion: Have completed their +2 level (in the 10+2 pattern of examination) from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, like Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. AGE: Candidates will be considered eligible to apply for NIFT Entrance Test if they are 23 years of age or below as on October 1, 2018.
