For proper guidance answer the following questions:u 1. What is the major or honors subject in B.Sc. ? 2. Is it two years pass course or three years honors course? 3. Name of university and if it is U.G.C recognised ? If anwers are 1. B.Sc. Chemistry honors three year degree course with 55 percent marks then you can apply for M.Sc. Chemistry in various universities. After which either you can choose to be in industries or academic career track, further Ph.D ensures higher and respectable post like research head, professor. Only M.Sc (Chemistry) can fetch you laboratory analysts or chemists job. If you add B.Ed degree you can become P.G.T chemistry in reputed schools with salary as per VI pay commission as per Boards rule. Addition chemistry coaching is always a good slash career of people good with this subject. The new career opportunities and related courses after B.Sc chemistry are Cheminformatics, pharmaceutical jurisprudence, regulatory affairs , drug designing and patenting. Although tailor made courses are available but a good M.Sc Passed Out will not need to undergo these courses and they can easily catch it up by job shadowing using little common sense and information search from internet or other sources. Among physics, life science and maths , CHEMISTRY adds highest employablity quotient in a graduate aspirant.
