Well Sreedhar all you get in correspondence is books. Why don't you buy a few good books and read for yourself? Here are some more thoughts about media, hope you find them useful. There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animate

Sreedhar, personally speaking I feel that learning Photography though correspondance course is like trying to learn swimming through distance education. Photography is a practical field which cannot be effectively learnt through correspondance course. I suggest you drop this mode of learning and try to enroll yourself in a short-term course through regular mode of education or through 'Part-time mode to learn Phtography. Learning the technicalities of the equipment camera, Lighting, Camera angles etc which can be learnt in the fieled only.
