I'm joining LPU. How it would be for B.Tech CSE B.Tech? Is it worth joining?

Based on my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. Placements at LPU have always been good, LPU has set the bar very high due to its record-breaking placements. Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world, from Google to Microsoft to Apple. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. LPU students have been successful in cracking placement opportunities with core engineering profiles from industry giants like Honda, Voltas International, Deakin Air Conditioners, Ashok Leyland, TVS Motor Company Ltd. , Bosch, and Seimens Home Appliances, Elgi Equipments, Forbes Marshall Pvt. Dear Yashu, It would be really great and worth joining B.Tech in the CSE programme at LPU. It is a very good programme and LPU and recorded the highest placement as well. I have done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Being an alumni of LPU I would suggest that Computer Science Engineering is one the branches in LPU having a wonderful placement record. Pursuing this course in LPU will not only provide you a degree but a hands-on experience by practicing through labs and live projects. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. Placements at LPU have always been good, LPU has set the bar very high due to its record-breaking placements. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst in Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. It has B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) courses. B.Tech (Hons. ). With time they had introduced my new programs considering in mind the change occurring in technology. LPU has been ranked in the top 100 private universities by many outer agencies such as Business Today, golden star awards, Digital learning, zee news etc. More than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU Following is the data showing the placements of LPU students by top brand companies. 1. Microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. 2. Amazon with a package of 16 Lacs per annum The main concern of every student and their parents is the job and LPU fulfills that requirement. According to the placement data of 2019-20 LPU has given jobs to 90% of their students appearing in the interview. Even in 2020-21 placement record was up to 72% considering the lockdown situation and rising cases of corona patients, LPU has delivered its promise. All my batch mates were working in reputed companies in India as well as abroad. If someone is planning their career in engineering, then I would suggest LPU. CSE at LPU is a great opportunity, as it provides world class facilities with pretty nice teachers and the exposure is world class. The placement is the main key point here. Most of the big players arrive in the placement and you can grab any of them if you have talent.
