I'm not good enough in drawing and Im a commerce student.is interior decoration course is good carrier option for me?

Hi Suvajit! You need to know at least some basic drawing skills in order to present your ideas and concepts to the prospective clients. Hence it is a major part of your design career and will be evaluated in the entrance exam as well. Switching the field of career from commerce to design is not a problem but you need to be sure if you really want to pursue this career. There is a scarcity of professional interior designers in our country. With more and more people willing to get their residence and working areas designed according to their taste, there has been a great demand for experienced interior designers. Employment prospects are plentiful and in various fields. Setting up your own business is also a very lucrative option in this industry. All you need is some creativity and knowledge of design and decoration.

If you choose any good college like graffiti institute of fashion technology, Indore, they will teach you basic drawing & observation skills in 1st year. So, there is no need to worry. Drawing skills can be acquired by right technique under good teachers and hard work by constant practice.
