i m persuing B-tech (EC),final year,i want to go for m-tech.....recently selected in wipro also.

i want to be post-graduate and also want handsome ctc .....so please suggest me,may i take a drop for GATE preparation in order to get in iit's or get recruited in navratna companies

    Hi,
    As you are pursuing graduation it would be advisable for you to work for some years after completing graduation, and than opt for further studies.
    The advantage of this step would be:
    You will gain relevant work experience, and you will learn how to implement theoretical knowledge in practical situations.
    After working you will know in which field you are actually interested in i.e. if you are interested in technical field than you can pursue Masters in same or related field, where as if you are interested in management side you can opt to pursue MBA.

    If u got selected in Wipro then my suggestion is first u join the Wipro and work for at least 2-3 years and get some Practical exposure. Afterwords u will get to know in which line u wanted to do some specialization.
    What after M.Tech.? Wanted to go in teaching line or in technical line? If in technical line then Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like tu suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons
