i m persuing m.sc biotechnology. i want to go usa or canada for having ph.d. so is it possible for me to get admission directly in ph.d or i will have to pass any other exam. or i will have to take admission again in any p.g course.

you can apply directly for the PHD in biotechnology after you complete your post graduation. The exams that you would be required to take for the same are GRE and TOEFL(USA) or IELTS(Canada). You would require a GRE score above 1300 atleast if you want admission in a good university. Hope my answer
