    Hi, Master of Social Work is Post Graduate Degree in the Social Work, a two year course for gradates in social work or related field, united under UGC. As for the syllabus, eligibility and admission criteria I would suggest you to visit the official website i.e, www.nirmalaniketan.comThe exam is of objective type with minimum 100 marks. The areas covered are General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, Social Work and Verbal Ability. For preparation one can go with Competition success, GK books for general areas. Well, the entrance pattern varies from university to university.but the common topics for the entance are1. Human rights and Child rights2. Laws and acts related to women and child welfare3.     Hi Anshuman, there are many jobs for the students who have done Master in Social work. To pursue MSW, one must be graduate. Anthropologists, sociologists and Psychologists are also suitable for the professional training social workers. Graduates in Sociology / Social Work / Psychology get preference. Written test and interviews are taken for the admissions. As for the work opportunities, they work with community groups, government and voluntary agencies, clinics, hospitals, sanatorium, etc.The future for the social workers are good as rural development, adult literacy, preventive health, etc are the new agendas of government.
