Hi, Master of Social Work is Post Graduate Degree in the Social Work, a two year course for gradates in social work or related field, united under UGC.
As for the syllabus, eligibility and admission criteria I would suggest you to visit the official website i.e, www.nirmalaniketan.com

THANKS MAM, yr valuable info mam. Syll. of the msw has been cleared from the respective website of the inst. Pls made it more clear. Whether entrance is about GK OR GS OR REASONING OR MATH OR ENG COMP. OR is it all about topics on social work...thanks...

Hi Ansuman, Good to know that you want to become a social worker and work in the development sector. Well, the entrance pattern varies from university to university..but the common topics for the entance are
1. Human rights and Child rights
2. Laws and acts related to women and child welfare

Hi Anshuman, there are many jobs for the students who have done Master in Social work. To pursue MSW, one must be graduate. Anthropologists, sociologists and Psychologists are also suitable for the professional training social workers. Graduates in Sociology / Social Work / Psychology get preference
