I'm preparing for TISSNET 2019. Where should I prepare the GK section from?

Moreover, I learnt from some faculty that TISS prefers candidates who are socially active / associated with some social welfare initiative. Is that mandatory? I'm an engineering graduate and highly interested in HR field. But sadly, I'm not that socially active! So, thanks in advance.

    Hi Swanand Kale,
As per the reviews from the people who have appeared for the exam earlier, I have understood that the best way to study for this section is to read as much newspaper as you can. That's the best way to gain knowledge about GK. You may also follow http://yojana.gov.in/ and other government magazines. Also, be updated with one regular and one international newspaper. That's the best way to prepare.
