I'm pursuing B.Pharma 3rd year & am quite confused about my career. What would be the best option: M.Pharma or pharma MBA?

    Hello,
    This totally depends on the intensity of your interest shifted towards either research field or business domain during your graduation in pharmacy. Yes, Pharma MBA is the emerging field. No doubt, if you want to mingle both your business and biology bent of mind, then this will prove beneficial for you. Otherwise, M.Pharma is an already established field. So choose wisely as per your interest!

    It is very clear. Take your step in which you are more interested. Both courses are good. MBA would have small advantage.

    The decision would be based on your interest areas and long term career plans. If you want to pursue a career in academics / technical / research areas then M.Pharma would be a better option However if you want to move into general management / operations side, then MBA would be better.

    Master in pharmacy is deviated in various different fields. By recent field report, M.Pharma in pharmaceutics is most valuable in India whereas in the US and other foreign countries pharmacology is well established. Pharmaceutics is a unique subject deals with all F&D, production, etc. So, the scope is clear. Though some places of pharmacology are absorbed by MBBS but M.Pharma in pharmacology is competitive with MBBS. A person with Pharmacology can enter in preclinical and clinical studies.
