I m pursuing intg.(M.Sc. economics)in IIT Kharagpur,I want to do B.A.in political science through distance learning from IGNOU, is it legal?

I am in 1st year of my course and due to my interest in pol. science, I want to do this for my further qualifications.

Yes, you can do a distance/correspondence course along with a regular course.
