I'm pursuing MBA 1st year. Which specialisation should I choose among marketing and HR?

This is up to you. You can either be a Marketing Manager, an HR Manager or a Product Manager. Take an appropriate decision according to the suggestions given to you. I would suggest you to go with HR . Good luck.
