i m student of b.tech 1st year when i can start gre preparation

start preparing in ur 3rd year and u will be ready with scores to apply after that

If you are okay with giving the new pattern, which is a little more difficult than the old pattern, then you should start preparing once you reach 3rd year or 5th semester

U can start your preparation from 3rd year of engineering onwards an can apply during final year of B.tech. That will not waste your time after B.Tech is over....
