I'm studying BBA, can I prepare for CAT? Is it mandatory to have a work experience in order to apply for MBA?

Yes, you can absolutely study for CAT while doing a BBA. IIMs don’t discriminate between graduation major, on the contrary they promote diversity in the background. Also it is not compulsory to have work experience to join IIMs. However IIMA has recently started to encourage freshers to take a deferred admission to have work experience of two years. Also people with work experience, at times, have slight advantage in placements (it’s not much though).
