I'm studying EI in BMSCE & want to change to EC. Can I write COMEDK again without writing boards(2018)?

Studying in the first year. I have taken management seat & now very much interested to change my branch to EC in the same college by writing COMEDK again this year. Is such a thing possible and will I have to repeat the 1st year? I can't score 9.5 or 9 CGPA in 1st year.

    Yes, you can write COMEDK examination again without writing boards but you have to drop 1 year if you are selected.
