I'm studying in 12th with commerce & IP as my subject and I don't have maths. Is it compulsory to have maths as a subject for B.Com (Hons.)?

Yes, it is mandatory to have maths as a subject in class 12th to get admission in B.Com (Hons).

Hi Poorwa, Maths is a very important subject in doing B.Com (Hons). One of the eligibility conditions for getting admission in B.Com is to have Maths at the + 2 level. Besides each of the three years of B.Com have a Maths paper which has to be cleared. Hence, unfortunately, you are not eligible for

But some colleges don't have Maths as a compulsory subject in eligibility criteria.

As per my knowledge, It is not imperative to have Maths as one of your subjects in the 12th standard to pursue this degree. You only need to be a 12th pass student to be eligible for this course. Yes, it is. But, still there are universities which do not require Maths and you can always try out private universities too.
