I'm studying Science-11th but want to become an editor. In future I want to do something big. Is becoming an Editor a right choice for me?

I'm studying Science(Maths) in 11th standard in J.D. Tytler School, New Delhi.

    it is a field in which one have to be really good at writing, reciting & expressing also one should have very good knowledge .its more of a interest based thing than job option .you still have over a year.talk ,know ,consult & realise. meanwhile you should start going social on blogs or Twitter.expressing & grasping. Hope it was of help

    Perfect choice in my view provided you must start blogging from now on write on social issues and remember phrasing is the essential part of writing so to improve it start reading
    Get a kindle and please don't read stupid stuff from anywhere.
    Ignore arundhati Roy and Chetan for a while rather go for premchand khaleel gibran etc.

    It all depends on your talent in writing. Check your skills in writing and your understanding of social problems. You can know for yourself. It's not just getting the job. First, prove that you are a good writer. Then, you are big automatically and you are respected.
