I'm the student studying in engineering first year and I passed inter with 90% + and I'm willing to join jntu second year by lateral entry.

Hello Chandu, normally when we talk of lateral entry ii means that the student has passed Diploma in engineering and is seeking admission directly into second year of four year engineering degree course. As per your statement you are already studying in first year and as a result the rules of lateral admission will not be applicable to you. What you are seeking is transfer from one engineering College to another. Yes this is possible theoretically. For this you need to approach the administrative staff of your college to seek their guidance since they will be knowing different forms that you may have to fill up for taking up transfer to some other college.
