I'm weak in maths, what are the subjects that I can take for Mains? How many subjects are there in prelims?

There is no compulsion to take mathematics in main exam. There are many optional subjects you can choose.

Prelims exam is general paper. All need to attend it. Quantitative, Reasoning ability, GK all are tested. There are lot of subjects available for you in main exam other than Maths. Like you can opt for psychology, social work, Science etc.

You don't need Maths for IAS. Go for subjects in which you have a good hand. Do not go for weak subjects. All the best.
