It is generally good, minding the writing skills and Technical Writing in particular. By pruning your skills constantly, you can derive a lot of satisfaction.It requires working steadily for some time.It does't come overnight.

Sneha your question is not quite clear. Can you put it again in a more elaborative fashion. Technical writer's job is a decent job but I would suggest that you also develop or qualify yourself for some other skills so that you can work parallel for something else also.
