Yes, of course you can work. To enter into insurance sector and work independently a very general mode is entering it as an ADVISOR or AGENT. To be an insurance advisor in any insurance company you'll have to apply for an online test IC-33 and this test is conducted by IRDA i.e. Insurance Regulatory

There are Exams You need to Clear to work Independently The exams starts with the licentiate exam followed by Associate and Fellowship Exams .
