You should join BITS, Hyderabad for mechanical. BITS is very top-ranked college in India.

First know your interest. If you are okay with mechanical then go for bits as it is best of all. If you are really interested in software and go to Vasavi it is one of the best college in Hyderabad with good curriculum which help you to shine in field you choose. I hope I was helpful.

    Hi Likhith,
Both the colleges are very good for CSE. Vasavi CSE is a good choice as the fee is much low than BITS and the placements are quite good. However, BITS Pilani is a premier engineering institute with a good brand value. IF you are not much interested in pursuing CSE, then go for BITS-Pilani any day. Also, the campus life of BITS Pilani is unmatchable and the quality of education is comparable with the IITs. Take your decision accordingly.
    Best wishes.

Although BITS-Hyderabad has got a good reputation, Vasavi CSE branch has got a good return on investment. You can decide based on your preference for branch, location and fees too.
    All the best.

Without any discussion, you go for BIT Hyderabad because BIT is a very good institution and placements are too good.

BITS Hyderabad for Mechanical is a good choice for you as BITS has a great campus and placements, so it is better to choose a better college with a better branch. Nowadays, everyone is behind the computer science branch so it seems CSE branch has too much of crowd so it's better to opt for a unique branch.

You should first figure out the branch in which your interest lies and then decide upon the college.
