    You should aim at qualifying in the first attempt, by studying hard qualitatively. Any work should be qualitative first. It is not in counting the number of hours spent. We have to select suitable books and increase our range to the maximum.Select a couple of good English newspapers to increase your awareness. Talk to knowledgeable people and by that way you may come to know your shortfalls
