After 12th, you can go for military, Railway, SSC, and many more small level jobs. You should apply for jobs after graduation, as there will be more options and greater posts, similar to that of officers. To apply for jobs you have to check the official websites of different authorities.

Find out an area of interest for yourself. Figure out which subject appeals to you most. For example though I was a PCM student I did not like to study Chemistry.
