I never appeared for GATE. How do I join for M.Tech in an Indian college?

If you want to join M.Tech in our college, you have to take care of your faculty members related to M.Tech. But I suggest you to give one time atleast exam of GATE so that you can easily go through your knowledge meant either you're elegible for better colleges or not. So I think you have to go through this carrriculum of GATE courses like at some platforms like udemy and at very less cost at GATE wallah organised by Physics wallah.

If you have appeared and qualified the GATE exam, you can apply for M.Tech at several colleges. If your score is good enough and matches with cut-offs of IITs, NITs and IIITs, you can apply for them. In NITs and IIITs, a common counselling process is conducted for admissions called CCMT. Usually M.Tech admission process starts after the release of GATE results. Whereas for IITs, you have to apply for each college individually through their websites. However, the admissions are made through COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) for IITs.
