I noticed in the college website of NPTI durgapur that the placement(b tech) has fallen from98% (2008)to 60% (2013) .can you explain why?
I am a student about to join NPTI durgapur to pursue b tech in power engineering

NPTI is producing the engineers to work in power sector. The govt power sector companies generally hiring from open entrance test. and In private power sector companies there area some trouble due to coal scam.
But defiantly it will improve soon
