I pass 12th with 55% in west bengal board but failed in maths.can i eligible to take admission in engineering college?

I pass 12th with 55% marks in west bengal board but failed in maths.so its turn as optional subject.can i eligible for jee main as i found eligible as its need 50% marks aggregate.can i really eligible for that?or plz give me career option after 12th?plz give some positive advice & i am hopeless.
