I passed 12th in 2015 but was unable to get an MBBS seat. Is it a good idea to do B.Sc now or should I try again for MBBS?

You can pursue B.Sc, and prepare for NEET 2017 along with it. It is up to you.

If you want to become a doctor, so you have to take a chance and if you have changed your decision of becoming a doctor then you can pursue B.Sc. You can do B.Sc in physics or mathematics.
All the best.
