I passed 12th Science but failed in my optional subject, i.e. Maths. I also passed WBJEE. Can I get into a good college for pharmacy?

Whether you can get admission to a pharmacy college in West Bengal if you have failed in mathematics in your 12th standard but have passed WBJEE depends on the eligibility criteria of the college you want to apply to. According to the WBJEE website, the following are the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Pharma courses: * The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode. * The candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category e. g. , SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) in the above three subjects taken together. However, some colleges may have alternative criteria for admission or provide relaxation for students who haven't passed Mathematics. For instance, they may consider your performance in other subjects or your WBJEE scores to determine eligibility. Therefore, it is advisable to check the eligibility criteria of the colleges you want to apply to before applying. You can find the eligibility criteria on the websites of the respective colleges. In addition to the eligibility criteria, you will also need to appear for the WBJEE exam and score well in order to get admission to a good pharmacy college. The WBJEE exam is a competitive exam and the competition is quite stiff. Therefore, it is important to prepare well for the exam. If you are able to clear the WBJEE exam and score well, you will have a good chance of getting admission to a good pharmacy college in West Bengal.
