Yes, you can take. You don't need to worry. In college, they will teach you from the basics. You will learn it well. And CSE has more scope than others as of current situation.

If you are good with math then you can take admissions in B.Tech CSE, as the real knowledge is in B.Tech only. It will be technical degree so if you are comfortable to have a career in Technology then you can pursue it. Some universities are providing scholarship and very good placements like Amity

You have plenty of times before joining IIIT-H. So, you can learn and develop coding skills in these 40 days. So, now what you can do in these 40 days?
