I passed class 12th with less than 75% aggregate in PCM. Am I eligible for BITSAT if I reappeared in the class 12 exam to improve my marks?

Yes. Candidates who are appearing for the 12th standard qualifying entrance examination on the admission year will be considered eligible for admissions through BITSAT. However, the candidates will be required to meet the basic BITSAT eligibility criteria that will be prepared and released by the authorities. If the candidates are allotted, then they will be required to show their qualification and other necessary documents at the time of verification. Failure to show the documents will result in the cancellation of admission.

In the 12th examination, the candidate must have received at least 60% in each of the subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. Alternatively, the candidate must have received at least 75% of the possible points in all three subjects (physics, chemistry, and mathematics, if taken in BITSAT) or biology, chemistry, and mathematics, if taken in BITSAT.
The BITSAT-2023 test is only open to students who are taking the 12th grade examination in 2023 or who passed the 12th grade examination in 2022. Only a candidate's most recent performance is taken into account if they have attempted 12th class or its equivalent...more
