It is not possible to become an IAS Officer right after completing 12th standard. In order to become an IAS Officer, you must apply for CSE exam conducted by the UPSC. It doesn't matter, which degree you have pursued but if you take BA. Then, you can have a lot of spare time to prepare for IAS exam.

To be an IAS officer you need to have a Bachelor's degree irrelevant of any field or specialization.
